This reconstruction of Middle East politics and ideology focuses on the rise of the Zionist settlement in Palestine, the gradual emergence of Arab nationalism, and the increasing difficulties facing the British Mandatory government when reconciling the growing Arab-Jewish communal : Jacob Hen-Tov.

Investigating the Communist International's involvement in Palestine during the s, this unusual study encompasses the rise of the Zionist settlement in the region, the gradual emergence of Arab.

The Journal of Holy Land and Palestine Studies (formerly Holy Land Studies: A Multidisciplinary Journal) was founded in as a fully refereed international publishes new, stimulating and provocative ideas on Palestine, Israel and the wider Middle East, paying particular attention to issues that have a contemporary relevance and a wider public interest.

Palestine / Zionism is a racist and antisemitic tool of imperialist policy in the middle east It is not the anti-zionists who are guilty of antisemitism, but the zionists themselves. Accusations meant to silence opposition to Israel’s fascistic nature must be resisted.

The thesis of The Dark Side of Zionism, arising from new histories neglected by the media, is that both the early Zionists and the Israelis sought their security through military domination of the indigenous Arab population of Palestine. Ironically, as the Labor Zionist movement grew in the s and worked towards the creation of a socialist Israel, the Communist Party of Palestine expressed its concerns about Zionism, arguing that both the Zionists and the British were imperialists, and that their political and economic dominance in Palestine went against the communist movement, because it oppressed the Arab.

It is essential to also understand that world Zionism CREATED Communism, took down Russia, set up the Soviet Union and created two World Wars in which over million died. Whether the term is ‘Communism' or 'Bolshevism' or ‘Socialism' or ‘Marxism' they all emanate from one source - World Zionism.

By rejecting Christ, they condemned themselves to worship one false Messiah after another—most recently Communism and Zionism.

In their book La Question du Messie, the Lemann brothers, both of whom converted from Judaism to Catholicism, and both of whom became priests, compared present day Jews to the Israelites at the foot of Mount Sinai. The book was a sequel to Orientalism and is one of three books, the third being Covering Islam, that Said wrote at the end of the s and in the early s.

The Question of Palestine is his take on how Palestine was dispossessed and how Zionism is really a European project. Yet, of course there is a margin for ideological obfuscation. Intellectually, the support for Zionism has deep roots in the Palestine Communist Party.

Its mainstream drew its practical ideas from Dov Ber Borochov (–), a ‘Marxist Zionist’ and one of the founders of the Labour Zionist movement.

Karl Marx, the Jewish “father” of Communism, was lectured by the “father” of Zionism, Moses Hess. Dan Pines, a (Russian) Zionist activist wrote in his memoirs that he had visited Stalin when the latter was Commissar for Nationalities in the mids and got his support for his Zionist activities in Russia.

ISBN: OCLC Number: Description: xiv, pages ; 23 cm: Responsibility: Jacob Hen-Tov ; with a new preface by Isaiah Friedman. The relationship between Marx and his teacher, the Jewish writer Moses Hess, also considered the father of Socialist Zionism, was quite mysterious.

In Hess’ mentality and philosophy there is a curious superposition of three ideological layers: Socialism, Zionism and Satanism. The author said Judaism is a religion but Zionism is a political movement started mainly by East European (Ashkenazi) Jews who for centuries have been the main force behind communism/socialism.

The ultimate goal of the Zionists is a One World Government under the control of the Zionists and the Zionist-oriented Jewish International Bankers. It is the idea conveyed by men like A. Berle in books like "The World Significance of a Jewish State." Americans do not understand the delicate racial situation in Palestine.

Zionist propaganda has always been accepted on the assumption that Palestine is the Jews' land and that they only need help to. Mainstream nationalist narratives and political movements have dominated the Israeli-Palestinian situation for too long. In this much-needed book, Ran Greenstein challenges this hegemony by focusing on four different, but at the same time connected, attempts which stood up to Zionist dominance and the settlement project before and after   He is working on a book about Jewish Marxists, socialist thought and anti-Zionism in the 20th century.
